I was hired to manage the  refurbishment of a heritage zoned 16 No. apartment block in Potts Point while it was occupied by residents, which meant that disruptions had to be minimal and everyone had to be kept informed of work types with fixed dates.  The tasks involved included consultant and contractor management, budgeting, resident management and negotiation and correspondence with Council for works without needing a Development Application. Budget for full scope of works was $160K but I managed to negotiate a reduced scope of $95K (valued at $110K) with the Builder. The client was Body Corporate Services (BCSSM) as Strata Managers of the building.
